Radial Tuberosity

Radial Tuberosity

The radial tuberosity is located just distal to the elbow and provides an attachment point for the biceps brachii muscle. The biceps brachii lies on the front of the upper arm and is responsible for flexion of the shoulder and elbow joint. The proximal attachments of the muscle have two heads, both attached to the scapula, but at different locations.
